Guest Speakers to Support the Units of Inquiry
Jordanian Musician Tareq Al Jundi
As part of their inquiry unit, Grade 3 students hosted the well-accomplished Jordanian musician Tareq Al Jundi, and eagerly listened to him share stories of his success. Our students were inspired to follow their dreams and not give up until they achieve it.

Grade 3 students hosted Mrs. Rana Shaban and Mrs. Nisreen Farah who talked about the factors that contribute to achieving success and excellence. They also shared the importance of choosing positive role models to motivate them.

In support of our inquiry about decisions; Grade 3 students hosted Mr. Mahmoud Al Nabulsi owner of Azwati- a social enterprise, and inquired about the decisions that motivated him to start the initiative and its effect on our local community.

During the unit of inquiry "Where we are in place and time", Grade 3 students hosted Mohammad Al Dmour from Jordan Media Center to talk about satellites and how they work.

Grade 3 students hosted Engr. Mira Haddad to talk about vegetation and its benefits. Also, she informed them about the relationship between vegetation and climate ranges.

Grade 3 students hosted the National Team Jordanian basketball player Mr. Ahmad Obeid who talked about the characteristics of an athlete and what makes him a role model. He also spoke about the challenges he faced and how he overcame them.

The Children’s Museum
متحف الأطفال
Grade 3 students enjoyed listening to the story “Jack and the Beanstalk” read to them by visitors from The Children’s Museum. All together they also identified parts of the plants and finally our students planted seeds in plastic cups as a model of the greenhouse.
استضاف الصّفّ الثّالث ضيفين من متحف الأطفال، قصّا عليهم قصّة "جاك والعملاق"، وأتاحا لهم فرصة تعرّف أجزاء النّباتات، وخوض تجربة ممتعة في زراعة بذور في كوب من البلاستيك، كنموذج مصغّر لكيفيّة الزّراعة في البيوت البلاستيكيّة
